    Hi Everyone,
    A big thank you to Gary for the invitation to join.
    My name is Ian and I'm a bit of a 'rubber-gauger' - I model in OO, HO (US), N (US and UK) and On30. I guess you could say I'm a serial micro-layout builder - I currently have 5 layouts in my train room - 3 working and 2 that need some refurbishment. I have also just started converting from DC to DCC and I'm enjoying the smoother running and little tweeks that I can give to the locos. I hope to put up some pics of my layouts and other projects over the next week or two.

    Great to see you here and I will be looking forward to some of your modelling. I knew you had a couple of layouts but not five ! These guys up North might think us Aussies get bored with one layout... :D

    Anyway, have a look around, enjoy the forum and enjoy the friendly banter, as there'll be plenty of it... ;)

    Welcome aboard Ian from a very cold, wet and miserable Plymouth with 40+ mph winds due at lunchtime. You certainly seem to have a lot on your plate. Looking forward to seeing your pics in due course.

    Welcome aboard Ian 5 layouts ? Toto only has 3, Cmon Tom get yer finger out ! well I say 3,
    last time we saw he had the bottom layer of 1 the Top of another and the 3rd hasn't been seen
     since Paul used it as a support leg on HIS layout

    As was put earlier welcome to the mad house, ther banters good, and we even get some modelling done, well maybe get some modelling done..... its a new year so we all start with a clean slate, pity it wasn't a clean workbench :whatever:
