    Looking good Ian your well under way, I'm felling a little lazy at the moment for lack of progress after seeing this.

    I guess you could say Ian has laid the first peice of track on his plank and started on the scenic's, lots of cutting of the plank too, going to be watching with interest.

    Ian you have got to be getting extra points for incorporating comp parts 1-to-10 take 10 points for that:thumbs:

    Cheers gentlemen I must admit to having fun ... but .... until part 2 of comp 1 is judged I cant attache part 1 & 2 of comp 1 to part 1 of comp 2 ... ? ... sigh...

    Ian, I would assume the entry would be submitted as before, so the usual pics, Front, Back, Sides, Top and a few which shows the model and its features at its best, get them in the bag and you can post them when the final submission opens up.

    That would allow you to continue on ther plonk.

    I'm sure his Floundership will pop in and add his decision .... soon

    Right the Scalescenes competition part 2 is now complete and eventually it will form part of the Townstreet comp plonk which in turn will become part of my mini running plonk. Progress so far... baseboard sourced (€12) and hacked to take the coal drop and a new base fitted (see image). A cork/corrugated cardboard (pinboard €2.35) overlay next then the track ... after which I can adjust the level of the drop to match the rail height. I'm making progress as it's too hot to play outside...
