Afternoon! I thought I would build a test plank, so I can show some of my original Wrenn locomotives and wagons.
The test plank will only be 400mm in length and 60mm wide.
I have already started to build the test plank and added a small backboard. This morning I have been scratch building a rickety old fence using wood coffee stirrers.
This fence will run the full length of the back of the test plank. I have managed to upload a progress picture, forgive my wife she wanted our Christmas tree putting up..:scratchchin:

Planks are a good way of practising modelling techniques too. Not only that, you have a small section of track that you can take outside and photograph your models on.

I'm guessing you will add ballast, grass etc to bring the plank alive ?

    Cheers, Gary.
