Couldn't resist this little beauty at the O scale Modellers Forum I attended today. So it's been added to the Fleet and will get some South Maitland Railway decals and a very good weathering. A very smooth runner comes with lots of parts to be add to the model, like lamp irons, tools, Tool boxes.etc Attached files

Chris Its far too clean for moonan flats Does it have a sound chip? Or is that to be added later Looks great Cameron
cmcan wrote: Hi Cameron Yes way to shiny I think even as a factory black it's too shiny a finish, very uniform though, I think the finish was done to match the original Ixion Hudswell Clark 0-6-0 as the other 2 available colours green and Red with lining are the exact same colour. Re sound Going to need DCC and sound may look at a Zimo decoder from the UK Kimbo put one in his Victory and it sounds ok.
Very nice Chris, I nearly purchased my second one in black when in the UK at Xmas but as I had already got the red version on order with factory fitted Zimo sound decided to pass. Agree, the finish is very clean but no doubt when you have put it through the paint shop will look the biz.
Mind the how to on the paint job then. can never get enough tips on these things. Maybe a short video of it strutting its stuff. Cheers Toto
