That is a lot of work you've completed. Sensational!!! I am really looking forward to seeing it in a few weeks time. Great stuff Kim.
Thanks again for all the comments http://www.click .......thanks to Chris (kentishlad) and his laser level, with help from Ralph, last weeks get together, ended up with two blue lines on the white backing board. One was a level datum line and the other plotted the incline from top board to bottom board. So for the last couple of days I've been assembling the incline. Still another 5.4 m of incline to go...... Just about ready for a coat of paint, then tomorrow the foam underlay will be cut and the track installed and tested. A little bit more work done on the back ground of the junction board as well.....still lots to do here. Signal box to build which will go in the space in the middle of photo.
Well not much to report re the extension build, due to the Perth show, domestic jobs etc etc and starting some loco builds, but one job has been completed thanks to Chris aka kentishlad, who installed some down light directly over the layout, as the original lights installed by the builder where fitted in the wrong position. The picture might not show how much better it is but It is 100 x better. So thanks Chris
No worries Kim, all I can remember is coughing my guts up with the insulation......that cup of tea after was the best! It's surprising what doubling the number of units from 8 to 16 makes
Taking a break from the Hymek conversions this morning, I "planted" another 30+ trees....which then led on to some loco testing will I ever finish it.
Looking superb Kimbo !! Also looking forwards to seeing it at your place. Is that the loco that has a loud Bark, cos if it is it's Barking up th wrong tree RALPH
Great video Kim The tree line is very effective Lots of passenger's in driverless trains you need a few more little people on the pay roll
wow that looks great kim, what make is the 14xx also are the wheels fixed or sprung - I keep looking at the b set in cream/ choc - I must resist , I must resist-- worried they will be gone late next month regards Dave
Brilliant Kim. Just as well the tree line is providing some protection for the signalman until the roof gets fitted Paul
