Hi, my name is Ron and I hail from RAF Cranwell in the county of Lincolnshire. I model on OO gauge and have two layouts ongoing. One is Weybourne, a DCC layout based on the North Norfolk Railway and is run as a preserved line. (basically I can run what I like when I like!). It lives in a 10'x6' insulated garden shed and is about 3/4 finished with some scenics yet to do. My other layout is a plank of 4'x1' called Hinchcliffe which is an Inglenook layout with a couple of extra sidings. The track is laid and wired (DCC) and I am wiring up the points etc at the moment. I was born a couple of hundred yards from the ECML at Grantham and my childhood consisted of many visits to the loco sheds, station and goods yard which was next to my school!! Married with 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Self employed Dental Technician with own business.
