Split Creek sortof

    I haven't posted much for quite some time as Split Creek is moving forward very slowly.

    Here is a slight view of the Split Creek under build conditions with some cheap Hornby circa 1968 rolling stock.

    I've been doing some loco work, and purchased these CD deck drive motors to re-motor these old trains. The motors are $A25 on eBay.

    Here I have an open view of D6524 after installing the new motor, which just purrs along now mmm.

    And the following photo is my first attempt at The Gorco Connection (Gormo coupling connection), it has to have a name Gormo!!!

    I'm quite happy with my first attempt at this chain coupling method. And finally the difference between the original coupling gap and the Gorco gap:

    As you can see I have been enjoying a bit of maintenance work as I have time.
