Looks good Paul Love it or hate it, ballasting definitely raises a layout up from a train set to a model railway!! Fantastic Cheers, Pete.
Hi Brian Sorry no there isn’t a thread to the outside part of the layout as I’ve recently moved. Thanks for the enquiry Paul.
Nice track work...runs perfect...I used second hand points on mine and still need to fiddle with he power on some of them.
First time I've viewed this in ages. ...... what can you say ...... excellent does not do it justice. Very fine work. Toto
Keeping the theme of Stratford TMD going I decided to convert a Dapol six wheel milk tanker wagon to what was a local resident at both SF depot or Liverpool Street station in the late 1970’s early 80’s.The wagon was converted from a early version milk tanker to a Oil Storage tanker. Thanks to Kim for spraying the tank body BR blue & yellow ends & some finishing touches of transfers just needs a bit of weathering to finish off.
Westhillwagonworks.co.uk are now selling a great looking detailing kit for a modern MPD in oo gauge, very similar to how we scratch built Paul’s o gauge version. Kit been built on Chadwick Model Railways.
They are about a mile up the road from me and their building sits on what was the Great Central Railways route in to Kirkby in Ashfield. No idea where they get West Hill from unless it’s the owners names?
