As announced previously Ian Tinto is our more than worthy winner of the Platform 1 Townstreet competition number 2. It has been the most demanding competition that we have supported to date and a great credit to both Ian and the forum. Can I ask for a well earned pictorial round of applause please And also if Ian could post a few more pictures up on this particular thread whilst I organise the " prize giving " with Townstreet. Ian has become a terrific contributor to the Platform 1 competition scene and I hope as we continue into our next season and further competitions that it encourages more to join the ranks. Again, a big personal thanks from myself for his participation. Toto
Thanks all it's been great fun and a huge learning curve. I also appreciate that the other competitiors were faced with very demanding schedules part way through the build. Of course being retired in tinto land itself has advantages over damp and spidery land masses far away. Fox' the goat? he's now retired to pastures new and myself well I shall be planning the 2nd section 'the canal basin'. More photos Toto of course ...
Congratulations Ian, well deserved. No matter how much I tried to slow you down, you just kept putting your foot down ! It was great going head to head with you at times and watching what you came up with next. You have produced an excellent model, or is that module ?? Anyway, you are the worthy winner of this great competition and I commend you. Well done Sir. Cheers, Gary.
Cheers Gary ... just a thought ... it might already have been finished from the very beginning and I deconstructed it for the photos ... mmm it's suprising what you can buy off fleabait ... just a thought ... perhaps it's in bits now ... Ian
Congrats on the plank Ian it is really a very atmospheric model Fitting the rules to a T the weathering and Cameo scenes from one end to the other. A more than worthy winner O and I found this Goat wandering around the site http://www.click
Congratulations to a very worthy winner Ian. Afraid I'm not very artistic myself, the only thing I've ever been able to draw was my wages!!!! Keith.
