Hi there :hismiley: great to be here! I’m being welcomed and haven’t even been polite enough to make a presentation:redface:
Er, here in Ardèche we’re in the middle of a hail storm !
I’ve posted a reply on Wolseley’s thread about his HD layout which will show where I am in my railway modelling adventures at the moment. After many years of 2-rail OO followed by 10 years of abstinence brought on by a house move, kids, a job with SNCF and a growing interest in classic cars, I had a relapse this spring when one weekend I set up a layout on the lounge floor with some old 3-rail I had in a suitcase and was soon exhibiting all the symptoms of a railwayitis relapse. In the end it turned into the permanent layout in my other post. Obviously intended for my young grandchildren
One day I’ll be able to get out all my Peco streamline and 2-rail equipment but will probably want to keep my 3-rail too. I think an Oscar Paisley style dual system may be the ultimate solution for me.
Thanks again and looking forward to discovering what other gems lie in wait for me here.
