Rob and a warm to the forum from a sunny Dundee Great to have you onboard and look forward to hearing about yourself and your modelling adventures so far. Once again welcome to the forum Paul
Thanks! I enjoy photographing railways - mostly heritage. When the lockdown happened, I decided to make a small model railway as something do to and also to have something to photograph. My dad is an S&D modeller from before I was born and I grew up with his OO layout in the loft. He's now moved on to O-gauge. As a result, my little layout is inspired by the Twerton Co-op siding on the S&D just outside Bath mainly as it's a set of sidings where trucks were propelled up from Bath (or attached from the end of a south-bound goods) which means that I don't need to worry about run-round. From: https://flic.kr/p/2oUj82f I'm now planning my next one!
Looking good, don't forget to start a layput build thread for the new layout. I've followed your Dad's footsteps into O gauge, and have not regreeted it - apart from the cost of wheel sets. Paul
