and a warm to the forum from a sunny Dundee Great to have you onboard and look forward to hearing about yourself and your modelling adventures so far. Once again welcome to the forum Paul
Good Friday evening (or Saturday morning for some of you). I am in the states, near Cleveland, Ohio currently. I model the Santa Ana Industrial Lead, which is a UP Industrial Spur in Anaheim, CA (near Disneyland) which used to be SP. It started in a 12x12 section of a room in my basement but I have expanded and it uses the entire room now. It's basically a large switching layout similar to what Lance Mindheim's Downtown Spur is. I have also just started on a small 2 turnout switching layout just outside the layout room to be able to easily switch cars quickly, and also try some new things out. Since the main layout seems to always be in some state of construction and takes a large clean-up effort to do some running, I figured this would be a nice addition . That layout is based in Vernon, CA / South LA and is tentatively called E. 24th for the street that it runs on. I have a Youtube page showing work on the SAIL, called Santa Ana Industrial Lead Model RR. I have yet to unveil the 2nd layout on that page yet, soon though. I hear Gary mention this place on his videos so I figured I'd check it out. Thanks for the welcome.
G'day SAIL, Welcome and glad you could join us here ! Be sure to have a good look around and share you layouts. Perhaps start a layout thread for the new layout you have started. If you have any issues with posting or creating an album to house your images, shout out and we will point you in the right direction. Cheers, Gary.

For those who haven't seen my current layout, I just put up a layout tour for 2023 on my channel yesterday. I Show the progress I made over the past year on my SoCal based switching layout.
Excellent video. I have been watching your videos for some time and I love the work you have done on those bridges, the street running and of course, those crepe myrtle trees lining the street. Cheers, Gary. (Gaz3801)
