Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I’ve followed the forums for a few weeks now and have to say that I have been impressed by the quality of modelling on display but also by the friendly nature of all involved. I have a house move looming so have just dismantled my O gauge garden railway and now only have a few junctions of hand-built pointwork as momentos. On the plus side, the new house has a much bigger play area - sorry, garden - and all necessary permissions have been obtained from the SWMBO committee for a large shed/garden railway over the next few years. Until I can get started, I’ll enjoy the modelling that is going on here.
Good luck with the move, and enjoy the armchair modelling, all that cerebral planning can be quite exhausting . Paul
