I have a couple or three seeps in my gubbins box, I could never get them to work but after reading Pauls posts about how to mount them I may try again. Pete.
Hi guys, got a quick question for you to mull over. All my points are insulfrog, and i want to convert them to electrofrog. Can this be done, as i want them to work with the Seep PM1's on DCC ?
To improve the power conductivity of insulfrog points, the first thing I would do is to solder in link wires from the switch blades to the stock rails. Cheers, Gary.

I've fitted over 23 PM1's to Setforth Junction. The key thing is to use a template for drilling the holes (all of mine drilled from the top, not from underneath so the holes/slots are vertical). I had 1 or 2 that proved problematic but it was down to inaccurate drilling - ovalling the mounting holes resolved those problems. Dave C

Well couldn't get into the loft today, no ladder, but it looks a bit narrow, but very long. What i could see, it has been insulated with ply. Will find out more later.
Hi Toto, i will measure it up, think i can get a full circuit, but wont know until i can get up there. The painter who is in there said it is not wide, but it is the full length of the roof, which is at least 15 foot long. There is power up there + lights. I will post pictures up soon
Finally had a look in the loft. Looks like it has been plaster boarded out. looks very long, but there is a stud wall halfway down with a door frame in it. The plaster board is on the roof beams by the look of it. There is also plaster board about 2 feet high, that comes away from the beams at a 40 degree angle inwards. So the plan is, take down the wall halfway down, Rip out the 40 degree plaster board, check for insulation under the roof plaster board. With all that out of the way, i can see what i have to work with.
