Thanks for the positive comments everyone. I still had a problem with the leaky roof, finally decided to add a new piece of roofing felt over that area and re-jigged the guttering. So far so good as we have heavy snow forcast for this week so it will be tested for sure!!
Just added a Hornby TTS Class 60 sound decoder and speaker (£35) to my old Lima Class 59 loco, took me 10 minutes and all sounding good!! I'll put a little video up later And the roof leak has been fixed!!
Changes are afoot at Sheringbourne! I noticed I was not using many wagons and the goods shed and 99% of the traffic was passenger coaches so; I've decided to remove the goods shed and replace it with a coach shed I used back on the Weybourne layout a few years ago. I need some new Code 100 track to complete it but used a bit of Code 80 to try the shed out.
Proving the point, "a layout is never finished!", I like the carriage shed, is it a kit Ron? Cheer's, Pete.
How about putting some interior lighting inside Ron? Perhaps tie it in with the yard lamp next door? Cheer's, Pete.
Now that's a very dangerous picture for me Ron because it has a Standard 2-6-0 4MT loco and a Cravens 105 unit there and these are 7mm kits I'd like to get me grubby hands on at some point but will have to wait... oh and a 4F. Seriously great scene and great traction on display Ron. thanks for showing.
