Nice conversion. They do lend themselves for conversion nicely. If only they would do an O type Bedford cab unit.
Nice conversion Ralf, I used to own a full size Austin FG K60 flat bed and I fancy re creating it in model form, I have a Base toys Sunblest FG in OO but what I would really like is to do it in 7mm, unfortunately no one doe,s them yet, and I don,t think I could scratch build one with all the curves. Pete.
Nice conversion looking forward to seeing the finished truck And as a bonus you get parts to fill the junk yard with the off cut axle Assembly
Hi Ralph Very effective conversion, must buckle down and start on vehicles for Viccy Road (and everything else as well ). Keep em comming Paul

Excellent conversion. Will the tank find a new life ?? Perhaps an oil tank at a diesel depot..?? I would like to see 'Prestons Coal Merchants' down the flanks of the tray...! Found this image on Flickr : https://www.flickr.com/photos/rpsmithbarney/11230092923 Cheers, Gary.
Thank you Platform One'ers for your replies. Gary; The coal truck/yard link great, only wish i'd found it as it would have saved a lot of to get the gray matter moving remembering my brother use to deliver coal for Prestons in Earby Years ago The Coal Staithe in pictures I made from Pop Sticks, the coal is actually real coal some from HVR (Hotham Valley Railway) here in WA, some from SVR (Severn Valley Railway) UK. Thanks for Viewing RALPH.
This is the partially built Pop stick Staithe Finished, Weathered, with added Real Coal some from HVR (Hotham Valley Railway) WA some from SVR (Severn Valley Railway) UK. http://www.clickRALPH
The staithes look good, great job. I have always wondered why the timbers are vertical, compared to coal staithes that we have down under, built with horizontal timbers ?? Cheers, Gary. ps. I'm just happy not to be that little fella there that has to smash up those very large lumps of coal !
Looks the part. Thank Goodness for coffee stirrers and ice lolly sticks. Where would we be without them. Bye the way, coffee stirrers are about right for sleepers too.
I have seen staithes built with the sleepers horizontal, the ends in H section rsj,s buried upright in the ground, not many, and I have never seen them modelled. Pete.
