    A very special Class 43.

I captured this one this morning on the Plym Estuary heading into Plymouth. It is 43172 'Harry Patch' named after the last survivor of the Great War. I think this is the best livery a Class 43 has ever carried. We must never forget the sacrifices of those that fought in that horriffic campaign, and also all the others that have followed.

    Damned right.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morningWe will remember them.

I was tempted by this offering by Hornby but with the Ozzy $ worthless against the pound it the £349 price turned into $800au
Delivered. Just a little much as would have wanted some passanger cars to go with it as well

    a nice looking set
Oliver's still has them listed mm!
