The one thing I have noticed that I obmitted is the guttering.

I think I need to return to the design and look at the drawings and make some up! Think that would finish off nice.

I began adding the guttering, but this also highlighted another omission as pointed out by Yorkie. I’ll come to that shortly..

the front down pipe added to the guttering. E8A4E495-4AE1-45FC-834F-68AD834A7E33.png 39137915-6355-4FFE-BAAC-660B8365BCF5.png

and here is what Yorkie, at the opposite end to the down pipe, the gutter intersects and cuts through the end barge board. This will involve a reprinted roof. 007C737B-C489-47A2-850F-2EE576C04FDF.png

    Overall completed model.

now to set up to print.

What amazes me Andy is that the rainwater goods located at the porch end of the cabin discharged into a zinc collection tank placed on a stilage, presumably this was the water supply for the box to boil up to brew tea and also wash down the window panes. One would have thought that in a town the size of Leek even back in to early 1960's that a running water supply would have been installed by that time.

Is that what it is? Couldn’t fathom if it was something stood in front or what? (As other views were blocked by the steps)

    (another Ed Walton Photo)

what I have also noticed and totally missed before hand, is that inside the porch the lower panels are darker as per inside? Would this be Eau de nil bottom and biscuit upper?

Yes Eau de Nil lower inside porch panel and shelf with upper and inside porch window in Light Biscuit... the glazed cabin door was Gulf Red with glazing bead putty surround in Light Biscuit... hang on a min ... must finish taking the meds.

Ah that's better... yes the zinc stilage was under the porch balcony and next to the locking room door ... rumour has it that a former signalman used to take his three year old son to work with him and the stilage was used as a bedtime bath for the child... and no the signalman wasn't Jack Twigg as seen in the film footage which can be found on Youtube :avatar:

Geez...thats some crazy detail...I'm sure after having the sulfuric soot settle into the down pipes over the years they would have some decent holes in them by now...
