Hi Jaz I wouldn't worry about us hosting the pics (that's Toto's job to worry ) Love the detail on the weir scene
4410 before the repaint Not the exact lory but pretty close bought from Hattons in the last year. Buildings are Bachmann from a limited edition. Attached files
I am a fervent fan of Hornby and Bachmann resin buildings, they are quick to pop on the layout, and with a big layout filling it up with ready made items helps a lot, and I often weather them. I used google earth and printed off plans for the station, sized them and used them to mark up the station to scale on the boards. The buildings are not scaled perfectly some being slightly bigger or smaller and not proportionally correct but close enough.Life when modelling is often full of compromises. Even the track causes compromises because it does not take up the real size, so you wriggle until you get the best facsimile you can, and hope to fool everybody Figures were at one time hard to make look good, i do not have any yet but the new 3d ones are superb. I photograph out of preference 'in' the layout taking a view that a person walking in the layout would see in order to try and fool people for a few seconds into believing it might be real. Some pictures, of course, are better than others. I prefer pictures taken at dusk when i can use shadows to enhance the look. Thank you for looking.
The loft is 44ft long by 11 foot 4 in wide, with 1200mm deep tables. Goathland takes up approx 12ft then another 12ft for the whole of the area designated as Goathland Village or Aidensfield. The largest and most modern station is Kalborough I will pop up some pictures of it tomorrow.
0710 Tongue in cheek Thunderbirds....are......GO! Kalborough Station a generic station which occasionally changes era, ok it has a habit of being like a revolving door I thought I had best show a loco or two Attached files
