    Found this site and thought it would be useful to those scratch building, kit building or even bashing a model for their own layout or interest.

    Now who would have thought Black Five No. 4762 would have been painted in Southern Malachite Green, lined yellow and black with white LMS numbers on the right hand side of the cab and Southern Railway style, shaded yellow on the left...??

    Although not in that particular album, on of the Rail-Online photos was one of the subjects of Chris's exhibition. John Chalcroft owner of Rail-Online kindly gave Chris permission to use the image.

    Edited to add that I am a plonker - the photo is credit to Rail Photo Prints not Rail- Online.......:hammer:

    The painting, entitled "Lurking in the shadows" has been suggested by quite a few people including myself as Chris's finest piece of work to date and I am not sure that this photo does it justice.
