    Hi all,
I've just received an order of brake van stoves from Hardy's Hobbies, and to be honest I'm underwhelmed. Can anybody tell me how big they should be in OO gauge. As shown in my photo they come out to scale at 2 foot.

On Hardy's site no dimensions are given

When I worked for BR riding in a Standard brakevan was akin to taking a ride on the old wooden Mousetrap on Blackpool South prom :avatar: the stoves fitted in the vans were tiny, they looked like coffee pots and were bolted to a circular metal dish with a rim around the edge, this dish was in turn bolted to the wooden floor. The actual pot was certainly no more than two feet in height... so your representational model is correct.. On another note these pots did throw out some heat.
