Berko also do the speed restriction signs in brass fret, Paul. You'll usually find dealers at the shows have them (I'm thinking "York" here). Keith.
The speed restriction signs gained yellow after 1963 prior to that they are white! Also my banner repeater signal under construction with Jon Fitness
I didn't want to say about the colour Steve and half expected an HST to come roaring out from the tunnel , the white looks fabulous. I'd love to see another pic of your Brit Lightning against it. The Banner repeater is interesting too.
Line side equipment boxes have arrived from Peter Clark. I’ve made them up and glued in place. First pack of ferns are on the way from Noch, my usual supplier only had one pack in stock! Hopefully they’ll have more soon. The tunnel mouths should be available this weekend so this project is fast nearing completion. Magazine photo shoot booked in as well.
I’ve made up the famous 130 reporting panel, just need a Cornish Riviera express head board from guilplates
You know Steve I reckon once the tunnel portal is complete and with the use of suitably defused lighting and some fog to suggest a misty day on the sea wall this scene would happily pass for the real thing. I for one cannot wait to see your next diorama project.
The opposite and familiar 3 stepped tunnel mouth now in place, I’m just waiting for the brick overlays for across the top. This stepped design of tunnel mouth is at both Shell and Coryton Cove.
The weathering of the tunnel faces is excellent Steve. takes confidence to take that on. Really good. toto
Ive moved the layout out from underneath Ranelagh Bridge so it can have more natural lightshining on it! Pity today is very grey and overcast!
The returning tide has brought in sea weed! First coat of clear gloss varnish painted on, I will build this up with multiple layers.
