Our latest competition starting today is Focusing on the little people that turn up on our layouts. What we want you to do is create a cameo featuring the little people that you have at hand. It can be any kind of scene at all. Maybe on a station platform, in a goods yard, a bunch of loco drivers and firemen chewing the fat over a cup of tea. It's your choice. You can use an existing scene that is already on your layout or you can create a scene specifically to suit. Once you have gone that, we want you to photograph your Cameo from what you think is the best aspect and post it up here as your entry. It must be clearly highlighted as your official entry and we only want one shot. Anybody can enter including the mods but as usual I myself am barred from entering. The competition runs until the 26 th August at midnight. Entries after that time will not be considered. The winner will be announced via the footbridge in the first instance. You can enter in any scale you please. There will only be one winner and here are the prizes that are up for grabs if you win. The prize you win will depend upon which scale you enter in, any prizes not awarded will go back into the Platform 1 prize fund for use in future competition. Prizes N gauge .......l. £35.00 of Scalescenes products / vouchers OO scale .......l a multi scale rolling road .... Ho / OO / P4 / EM O Gauge ....... A Connossiuers models 7 mm BR Brake van kit. There we have it. If I have missed anything from the above, I'll amend to suit ASAP. Good luck to all entering.
When you say 'little people' what if they are sort off like y'know a farmer and have animals.. sort of. Ian vt

My Entry for the Cameo Contest. It feels rather under dressed when compared to the other entries but this is what I have at hand. If you squint really hard you can see 2 people, 2 engines and 2 carriages. Cheers Cameron
