    Well,

It's been a while so I though I'd help keep the wheels of industry turning and ordered up one of these from Jim Mcgeowan.

Complete with wheels and plunger pick ups. Pictures on arrival.

    Cheers

another for the joint build pile perhaps ...... and for the un-initiated ..... here are the photos. I'll apologise up front for the quality of them ..... not the best but gives a flavour.

stating with the box .... and nice reference photo.

moving swiftlt on to the instructions .....

full set of wheels and plunger pick ups from slaters .....

various white metal, brass and miscellaneous parts . there are rods and wire as well which have not been included in the photos.

then we start on the etches ...... a mix of Nickle silver and brass .....

first up are the main chassis parts ....

then the body sides and stuff ....

more chassis stiffners and gubbins ......

buffer beams and boiler formers etc .....

boiler bits and parts of the cab ......

the main footplate etch and boiler end, support and other parts.

quite a few etches for what looks like a relatively smallish tank loco. As usual, all to Jims high standard of production with nice crisp white metal casts and a two man crew.

very nice and on the build list soon ..... I think ..... I'm loosing track of the order now. :avatar:

    cheers for now ....
