    Hi Folks

    Here is almost the full extent of the damage although I have noted a bit more of the base board on the right hand side will also need to be removed. For now I am continuing with repairs to the ceiling and that will give me the feeling that my train room is once again made secure from the elements. Then on with the backing board for the back scene which will need to be in place before the new base can be installed.

    Hi Folks

    Ceiling now completed and a bit more of the base removed as I followed the damaged bits further out. I really appreciate the support received from members both here and on our facebook page. Really does help to boost the sagging mojo but I can now say that it is back to normal and I am looking forward to restoration of Dargan. So now farewell to this thread and on to the more rewarding thread....Dargan Restoration.
