Is the 02 a white metal kit Toto? You may need to check there is plenty of room for all the gubbins. The sugar cube speakers are good where the space is tight. Also when soldering the stay alive wires to the chip, the solder pads are very small, you only need a tiny amount of solder and you need to get in and out with the iron quickly.

    Cheer's, Pete.

Thanks for that Pete. there is reasonable space under the main bonnet. Fingers crossed there is enough though. Noted .... re .... the soldering of the stay alive.

    cheers

Hi Pete - he should be ok as both the chip and stay alive have wires, and for Toto's benefit in case he has forgotten, blue to blue and grey to black.

I was well impressed with the stay alive, the sound was still blaring away a good 20 to 30 seconds after the loco was lifted from the track, so impressed I bought 2.

    The loco also sounded impressive.
