I have a brake third but needed something to make up a very short passenger train. The Messiah informed me that this would work ( in Scotland ) so I decided to go for it. I'll post up some pictures of this later tomorrow to show what's included in the kit. The display items looked very good. Cheers Toto
Steve Fay uses Easy Build coaches on his layouts, he may have some insight into the best way to go about building it and any pitfalls to avoid. Pete.
He was there yesterday after a trip to the Severn Valley railway, after a change of plans. It would have been good to have bumped into him to have a chat. Thats the trouble when you go to an exhibition, you aren't looking at the other punters! Pete.
That's a surprise, he had it on the forum for a Sunday visit. Must have changed his plans. Cheers Toto
Well here are a few pictures of some of the parts. I left out a couple of plastic strips and some brass rod. comes in a very stout box which will house the completed kit very nicely. next up is the floor with pre drilled holes for the bogie fixing points ..... then the coach sides ...... and then the roof ..... next up ..... bogie fixings etc. and then ...... flexible rubber type corridor connections....... more corridor fitments. the ends ....... a seating pack as above ........ coach glazing pack ....... brass frets with windows and couplings and various other parts. and again. internal corridor connections. The instructions come on a DVD. cheers for now. toto
Hi Toto, great looking kit. I've used the same bogies as supplied with your kit for my Westdale coach stock, they are really easy to build
