I'm leaning towards buying an Easybuild Coach kit and wondered if anyone has advice or experience in building them which they could help share. I thought I'd have a crack at doing a Class 129 Cravens parcels unit as M55999 was stabled at Cockshute (Stoke on Trent) during the 1960's and M55997 was regularly sent down from Newton Heath to work the 2N01 the Leek-Mirfield parcels in 1969 just before the Leek traffic ceased and the station closed.

    I believe that they are 7mm (O).

Having built one of their DMU’s they do go together well, but need a reasonable amount of skill.
The gearbox has now been improved and now works well.
google to find more info on product and build info.

Hi there Echinelda, I can say the coach and DMU kits are O Gauge 7mm scale and the glue needed to join the plastic components is EMA Plastic Weld. Hope this helps.

    cheers York Paul

That's interesting to know wychcan and having just spoken to Shawn earlier and paid for my Class 129 kit today he was actually machining the sides as we spoke, so hopefully the kit will go out this week and I paid for Royal Mail Tracked as I'm not totally trusting private courier reliability in delivery at this time of year. Another interesting fact is that Shawn and his team are currently working on making a new DMU kit which will be a Calder Valley Class 110 and also the BRCW Class 104... remember you hear about this stuff first on Platform 1.:avatar: I would just say I have zero affiliation with Easybuild except as a potential new customer.
