G`day Folks, Welcome to Gormo`s Shed, This episode deals with a couple of things, but first and foremost the Gormo`s Shed series of how to videos will end at Christmas this year. I have been doing these videos since January 2016 specifically for Platform 1 MRC and as a request from Toto when the forum was in it`s infancy. I have come to a point in my life where I am looking to wind back a little and rationalize my time to make more effective use of it in order to focus on things I would like to tick off my bucket list. I should point out that I was under no strict schedule or such to provide these episodes to the forum, and I had a free hand to create and schedule, however it was more of a self imposed commitment that was lurking in my thoughts popping to the forefront at times reminding me that I must create a new episode and I felt a responsibility to maintain that commitment. Of course this commitment is all based on friendship and as such I am sorry to be leaving Toto and the forum in the lurch because Gormo`s Shed has played a small part in the forums success. The forum is traveling along quite nicely though with a steady influx of new members based on word of mouth, reputation and ethics. I guess there maybe some who will think that this is a smoke screen to cover up a falling out with the forum or with personalities, but they could not be more wrong as this is not the case......far from it indeed. Unfortunately my actions may have some negative impact on the forum and, if that is the case, I apologize to Toto, but hopefully it will be a temporary blip on the radar. So my intention is to still be creating videos, but at a more relaxed pace, and they will focus purely on my railway Great Chesterford Junction. If I come up with any semi brilliant ideas they will be delivered via a GCJ video or a work bench topic. The current collection of Gormo`s Shed videos will remain available on the forum and on my YouTube channel. I have no intention of removing them as they may be of use to somebody in the future. So that`s it folks....two more episodes to go and Gormo`s Shed retires. So folks.........Colouring Grass, Ever had trouble just striking that right blend of static grass to make your grass look more like the real thing.?? You can go some way to improving the look of it by lightly brushing on some acrylic colours to patches of your scenery. Check it out in the video Gormo
