G`day Folks, After last weeks episode aired on Platform 1 MRC`s in house TV Channel, Toto put in a request for a further video which shows the method for applying Superglue to paper. With him being our fearless leader / head honcho / man at the top ,.....plus he`s my bestest, goodest, no.1 buddy, so how could I refuse.....?????......and of course....it`s no trouble at all to knock up a video. So I thought, whilst I had the camera rolling, and also thoughts of being repetitive were creeping into my consciousness......I had better throw something else into this video to help keep the audience happy. I decided to have a look at the lighting in my hidden fiddle yard. LED strip lighting which is excellent and unobtrusive and cost effective. This stuff is all over the web, but you can also buy it from your friendly hardware merchant if you so desire.?? Anyway...on with the show !!!! Handy Hints Continued No. 3 plus More http://www.clickGormo
Thanks Gormo, very handy tips. Found LED strip, it's got 4 4in socket one and a 4 pin plug on the other, Wires are Blue,Red,Green and White. How did you connect them please?? (12v I know) Cheers Ron
Thanks Gormo, i've not quite had the chance to view this yet but I'll be pulling the popcorn and glass of milk out soon. I like this idea and it has possibly come at the perfect time for me to try oit. i have a few building projects that are due and the tougher finish the superglue provides for some of the details that could be in the line of fire may benefit from this treatment. you're a trooper. I'll give some feedback once I've had the chance to view ...... in peace cheers toto
Just watched your video Gormo. thanks for that. very simple and straight forward. I think that could be getting used. better stock up on super glue now. cheers toto
G`day Toto and Ron, Ron, the system I have consists of strips 9 LED`s long. There are 4 pin sockets on the ends of each strip and the kit was supplied with 4 pin double sided connectors to allow you to join the strips daisy chain style. The kit was also supplied with 4 pin one sided connectors which I soldered 4 wires to in order to make jump leads between strips. This is quite handy as it allows you to negotiate framing into adjacent areas, yet keep all the strips in the one circuit. The power in lead has it`s own step down transformer which allows me to plug it straight into the mains. I think my system may be different to yours so I have no idea how your colour coding would work. . Yes Toto.....it`s a very handy thing to have at your disposal and you only need el cheapo Superglue.....don`t waste the good stuff on this.... http://www.clickGormo
