    G`day Folks,

Well the cat was out of the bag a few days ago when I posted a preview of this weeks Gormo`s Shed.

Yes gormoVision management is now seeking to widen their audience appeal through a concentrated marketing campaign targeting model railroading hot spots around the globe. Therefore previews could become a regular thing in the future depending on the availabilty of material......anyway I digress.!!

    TARPAULINS......
yes there any number and varied commercial options available so why would you bother printing your own.???.......good question!!!.......and the only reasons I can come up with are these. Firstly you have control over what it looks like and also the size and colour of it. Secondly, you get the satisfaction of creating it yourself.......that`s it.!!!!

So this weeks long winded ( 43 mins ) tutorial shows you how to make them yourself. You need a drawing program on your computer and you need a printer.

There are a few ways to make your own tarps without a printer and I discuss these during the video, however the other methods produce only a plain tarp without lettering. They look very reasonable though and there are plenty of tutorials on the net to get you started in that direction.

So have a look at this method in my video and see if it is of any use to you....but before you start you`d better get ample supplies of popcorn and beer......it`s a long one........Enjoy !!!!

    G`day Folks,
One of my subscribers on YouTube, has kindly created some Tarpaulins for free download for those folks who don`t have or are not confident with drawing programs.
He goes by the name of Timber Surf and here is a link to his web site where you can download the files. He suggests to avoid using Laser printers, because they print with a gloss effect that cracks when you scrunch up the tarp to distress it...........Enjoy!!!!

I had a look at his site and downloaded his tarps, LNER and BR.
When I get my finger out I will print some off. I'm going to try blowing them up to O scale.

    Pete.

Gormo, quick question about your YouTube (and I’ve seen it else where) your time bars at the bottom seem to be split in to segments… how on Earth have you done this? I have never seen an option on any I have made? Is it program specific?

    G`day Andy,
I don`t know how that works......I don`t do it.....it is done by the system.
I used to have monetization on my videos which meant there were Ads in the videos, however I removed that some time ago.
I`m not sure but maybe the segments were created by Ad breaks...???
