Another 3D design and printed signal box. This became my second home made model and now in the post to its new owner, who worked at the location.
I do stress, this one is based on the original, I used a little artistic licensing with the agreement of the customer as I realised just before printing that (as new material came to light) that the box was wider than first thought.

Rather than spend hours modifying, the customer was happy to have it as it is…

it did pose a new challenge as this one has an external walkway.

    Ford Green NSR.

Ford Green now that was a place, the locking room had two tier wooden landings to access the lever frame, the top one was for te locking table and the lower one was to access the electric U locks and gainstroke pullies, access to front of frame by the trackside brick wall one had to jump from the top landing onto some wooden scaffold planks held in position with large steel J hooks slung over the lever frame machine timbers. Try leaning between levers to oil main locks and cams with one hand whilst your footings swing violently from side to side and all about 18 odd feet up in the air. That is more than likely why those locking room windows got bricked up as too much glass got broken.
