Greetings to all. Thank you for accepting me into this amazing forum and group of railway modellers. My name is Nathan and I live in Sydney and currently model HO scale trains that ran across New South Wales from steam era to modern diesel era. My modelling interest is trains that ran along the South Coast Line from Sydney to Bomaderry Nowra. Looking forward to gaining more knowledge in this hobby and meeting other modellers. Thanks all. Hi Nathan You're more than welcome, and just ask away, the beauty of this forum is there are a good number of members evenly split between Oz and the UK - there are many other nations represented, but most of us are from Oz or Pommes - shared language and more importantly a shared weird sense of humour You'll have a lot mates nearby - some a lot closer than you think and no doubt will be making themselves known soon. Hi there Nathan, nice to hear that you like the forum... there is lots going on here and we cover many areas of discussion and modeling topics, You'll find everything you want to see on the home page scrolling down the various lists and also in the media library... all these things are here to help modellers and to try and answer their questions. G'day Nathan, Welcome aboard. I too am from Sydney and know the Illawarra line well. Spent many hours photographing trains on the Illawarra in my youth. Just wish I still had the photographs today ! Looking forward to reading about your modelling. Enjoy your stay. Cheers, Gary.
