had a “tubby duff” sat around for the last 5 years. It’s not been used for a while and came to try it last night and one bogie doesn’t do anything. The cardan shaft from the fly wheel is turning in to the gear tower in the bogie, but not the wheels.

Anyone had this issue it suggestions before I start disassembling ?

Heljan had bother with stripped gears some time ago. I bought two class 55's which I bought direct from Heljan at an exhibition in Glasgow that had this issue. They are well known for it. Also where the " T " bar on the end of themshaft connects into the motor, the plastic socket has a habit of fracturing. I'd concentrate my attention on these issues.

    Good luck.
