I am looking for anyone that either lives in Cornwall or down here on holiday over the Easter Week-End who would like to help out with running a 7.25 miniature railway at Redruth. PW Staff, Guards, Platform Staff we have Drivers But will teach people to become Drivers all under supervision HSE Standards will be in force Like any miniature railway or the real thing. Hi, A further update if anyone is thinking of going to Peterborough Garden Railway Show on Saturday 4th April 2020.My partner and myself will be at the show. We will be displaying my Garratt K1 which was built from scratch by one of our members and has been given to me by my partner.The stand that we are displaying our models on is called Steam Model Loco.There will be hopefully some 3d printed models of our own design on display besides other scratch built models by members of the said group. Just been watching the news, it looks like they're taking it very seriously now. I must admit it is worrying me as they say its the older generation and people that are longtime ill that are most at risk! Pete.
Good evening Pete, Yes I can imagine how worried you are.I heard Matt Hancock say this evening that they are monitoring the situation. Hopefully if the weather changes and gets warmer then there might be less of a risk. Sorry to say it's the people entering the country that's bringing this virus in.Just have to keep fingers legs and everything else crossed. Good evening everyone, Just an update as Secretary of the Cornish Group of Narrow Gauge Railways. Peterborough National Garden Railway Show is going ahead as planned. We received this notification this morning, states tissues and hand gel will be provided on our stand at entry. if anything else happens in the meantime I will update you as I am constantly monitoring the situation regarding this show and virus.
