Our club used Humbrol 184 Freight stock grey which is perfect for GWR stock but is very hard to get in Australia so does anyone know an equivalent in other brands?

I find the Vallejo paints great for airbrushing. Thier Grey Surface Primer is also great straight out of the bottle - although for Brass models I would suggest an Etching Primer.

Just to add to the mix, I use Vallejo Medium Sea Grey for all grey freight stock, irrespective of company. Initially I bought the 'Air' version but soon realised that the game colour version was much more economical when let down for spraying with Vallejo air brush thinner.
