Thanks to all who have welcomed me into this group.
I think I'm a slack modeller, I have built one small N gauge layout and scratch built a couple of rolling stock. But this was tiny work and a bit hard on the eyes. So I decided to change to HO.
I started to build an 8 x 5 (foot) layout but found it took up too much space for my liking and was cumbersome to use in the space I had available. Well its now probably thirty years later and I still haven't got a running system together.
At the beginning of this year I pulled my "masterpiece" apart and started looking into shelf layout designs and methods of construction. I have decided to build a simpler shelf layout based on building foam as shown in Ken Patterson's videos on You Tube, as his methods suit my style.
I'll post some progress photos as I go, as this will help me keep on track (ugh).
I enjoy building electronic gadgets, microprocessor programming as well as other aspects of electronics, having worked in these areas since I left school way back in 1968.
That's my short introduction, so :hismiley:to everyone one.
    All the bestGraeme

Nice intro Greame. Electronic gadgets eh. :scratchchin: there are one or two already dabbling in this witchcraft on this forum. You know, the wing of a bet and the eye of a frog.

Paul and Keith spring to kind do have a good rake through some of their posts. I'll need to find some far flung corner of the forum to banish you wizards to. :avatar:

    Welcome aboard.
