This is a teeny weeny motor and gearbox. Aimed I think at the OO scale models .... but this one has a 3 / 16 axle bearing so suitable for small O Gauge locks. The gearbox is a 38:1 ratio. I have just taken delivery of two from slaters. These will be used on my Ramsbottom 0-4-0 four foot shunter and my Ramsbottom 0-4-2 crane shunter. Both Gladiator kits. Pictures will be posted later along side a normally used Mashima 1833 motor to give a sense of scale. Cheers for now Toto
And here we are ..... the piccies as promised as it comes ..... out the packet with the axle gear .... and a comparison with the larger Mashima motor ..... quite some difference ....... Now .... just to fit it .... cheers for now. toto
Yes, I'm now minus a horrifically small but critical spring. I will need to try and get a replacement ....... only had it for a day. £ 75.00 down the drain. Well the motor at least unless I can come up with a spring. A phone call to Slaters maybe ? Toto
