    G`day Folks,
I discovered this railway via my regular news letter from Justin at Model Railway Scenery.
You guys in the old country are probably already completely up to speed with this railway, but for those of you who are not, just check out the their YouTube channel.

These guys have taken on a massive project, but to make sure everything works, they have professional procedures in place to ensure everything passes through a checklist before it hits the big screen.
If you are interested in computer control, this is definitely worth a look.

A very professional set up. Must take a bit of getting used to the logic behind it all but worth it when you do and things go according to plan.

Its great to see the real world applied in model format but maybe a little too committed for me as well Gormo. I think it could be quite stressful trying to keep everything to the plan but I suppose that was true of the real thing as well. Certainly a challenge and Interesting though.

I'd love to create such a project one day, with the right space (not necessarily too much space if done in N gauge) but more importantly a band of modellers/operators.

Not an impossible dream. A little networking over time to get enough folks within a reasonable commute from each other. Someone with space and the collective will of everyone to get stuck in. Why not?

That`s the sort of thing that can be organized through a railway forum.

How about.?????.........nah!!!!.....better not say that one...:avatar::avatar::avatar::avatar:
Well I can give you quite a few examples of how things have been organized on P1.
I won`t list them all, but get togethers, running days, exhibitions, overseas visits, transfers of parts, donations of parts for projects, help with business ventures, and on and on it goes.
But the most significant thing I think of, is new found friends.
So it would be quite easy, given that people live within close proximity of each other, to organize a group to build a large McKinley style layout, I reckon.:scratchchin:
