The painting behind is by my daughter Bryony, I might get her to do my back scenes

The loco looks like it's in top condition

One talanted painter is your Bryony, :worship:
Contract Bryony to paint the back Scene for the layout a good way of getting the family involved :thumbup:

    Now it starts.......

You should see if Bryony has other scenic skills as well, in between her fairy godmother duties of course.

Loco is looking good, just need some thing to run it on

Where is the best place for RTR track then ? There is always the bay but if Tany is looking for turnouts ......... Will they need to be hand made ?

As a starter I would Recomend going with the Peco 124 bullhead (B/H) track buy a box 12 yards doesn't go far.
And the points The Peco B/H 124 are fine The 2 on my little layout came from the bay $24 or £12.70 each new in never opened boxes (that's the same price as a new HO point in OZ) the best part of the code 124 B/H you use the OO track joiners both metal and insulating ones.
