As a starter I would Recomend going with the Peco 124 bullhead (B/H) track buy a box 12 yards doesn't go far. And the points The Peco B/H 124 are fine The 2 on my little layout came from the bay $24 or £12.70 each new in never opened boxes (that's the same price as a new HO point in OZ) the best part of the code 124 B/H you use the OO track joiners both metal and insulating ones.
