I had a parcel waiting me on my front door step this afternoon. It was the three Hornby ex 'Red Box' Blood & Custard ex LNER 61'6" Flying Scotsman coaches... These were made for Marks & Spenceras a limited edition set.

I am very pleased with these and I was even more pleased with the price ! I paid £59.00 for all three coaches which is a great price as I have seen the 'box shifter' flogging the same coaches (without headboards) for approx. £34.00 each ! The Rolling Stock 61'6" coaches sell anywhere between $80.00 (£47.00) - $100.00 (£59.00) in Oz ! I just like the detail on these coaches, or I should say on the Rolling Stock series of coaches, to which these are an equivalent of.

Ofcourse the coaches above and below have different running numbers.

These coaches will be mixed in amongst my five other teaks to form an excellent looking train. Now I just need to replace the old tender drive Flying Scotsman loco with a loco drive.... ;)

    Cheers, Gary.

Nice Gary they will look good in a mix with the teaks.
Won't fit Industry lane though so we won't get to run them at the exhibition
