Hullo everyone, I've been back in UK since November and have just unpacked the last boxes, have found my modelling stuff but not yet ready to do any modelling. For you amusement, some results of the NG mania I am suffering from... The black tank engine is a white metal kit on an old Graham Farish chassis with etched motion parts. The red diesel is built on the chassis of a Bachmann N gauge Plymouth shunter, using the part of the original that covered the engine, and the green diesel is a completely home made body built onto another Plymouth chassis. The rolling stock for the engineer's train is all home made, mounted on N gauge brake van chassis' that have been cut about a bit. The couplings are folded up Greenwich etches. By the way, if anyone has a redundant Graham Farish O8 shunter, I'd be interested for my next project... Doug
Welcome back to Gods country, even if it is a bit wetter than you've been recently used to Nice models, then what else should we expect As you have found NG has a quaintness about it, I've always liked the Leek & Manifold .... maybe someday Looking forward to seeing your progress. Paul
Hi Doug nice to hear from you again you'll no doubt be putting a snowplough on the front of the tank engine. Ian vt
Excellent Doug. Great to see how far you have come along with the narrow gauge railway, locos and rolling stock. Looking forward to more of the same. Cheers, Gary.
Paul, Ian, Gary, thanks for your kind words, I managed to walk the entire length of the garage today without having to climb over a cardboard box... Repaired [temporarily] the leak in the shed roof, installed a dehumidifier and hung up a few tools, so feeling a little more 'grounded' now. It'll have to wait for some drier weather for a full job, not used to being hemmed in by other houses with bits of the garden in constant shade at this time of year. As the proctologist said 'Onward and upwards!' Doug
