    Taken last Friday 12th April.

a first in heritage railways was visiting GBRF loco Class 69008 (formerly a Class 56 but re engines with the GM engine from a Class 66.) making its debut on a passenger train.

note it had to be coupled to its family relative a class 47, as the 69’s (and same when 56’s) were air brake only, where as the heritage stock is the older Vacuum braked. The Class 47 acts as a kind of converter.
