Hi with me finally moving to the big boys stuff, I thought I would produce a photo plank for my 7mm wagons and locos.
The baseboard is a scalemodelscenery photo plank measuring 400mm x 150mm. The track is Peco O gauge setrack.
I'm thinking of a loading platform area as well as some nice scenic sections. Track has been laid and fixed where I need it and weathering is taking shape nicely.

Stupid question. Why do you need a plank or do you not have a layout.

Brian no such thing as a stupid question. I don't have room for a layout so that's why I thought I would build or model a photo plank for taking pictures of some of my 7mm stuff.
That being said I have been thinking about purchasing a plastic wrapping paper container which I think would be large enough for a small O gauge layout.

Mark that makes perfect sense. I had an OO layout around the walls of an 8X8ft bedroom. Then I decided to flog it all, there was quite a lot, and go O. Now have an O layout on the same baseboards.

Quite amazing what you can fit in a smallish space and also what you can’t fit.

Managed to get the buffer stop built up today and then applied a coat of primer. I will let this dry fully before weathering is applied.

A bit more progress on the buffer stop this morning. The main colours of the buffer stop have been applied and the buffer is now fixed in place.
The next job will be to weather and rust up the buffer stop.

Don't know how to get a link to you but a guy named Colin French has made an O gauge layout using two A4 Boxfiles, ''Foxbiles''. It is detailed in one of the small layout books published by the O Guage Society.
