Thanks all for the welcome posts. Sorry for my delayed response I missed the welcome topic, not trying to be rude.

It was nice to see Industry Lane in the flesh at Liverpool and meet the lads. I had seen it previously on social media and recognised it immediately.

By way of introduction I have broad railway interests and model NSWGR in HO and O, and various UK prototypes in OO, EM & O. Since returning to modelling in 2007 I have exhibited an OO layout Port Victoria at the Brisbane Model Train Show at Doomben and a NSWGR O gauge layout Gilbert Sidings at the Brisbane Model Train Show at the Showgrounds in 2015.

I have moved house and have just been setting up my shed ready to resume modelling. The recent cheaper O gauge RTR offerings have tempted me and accordingly I am about to build a new small GWR urban 1930s terminus so I will start posting about this in the layout thread.

    Cheers to all,

    Rob

Good to find another O scaler Rob
I saw 2 photos not real clear of Your NSWGR O scale from the show in Brisbane a couple of years ago I think
How are you progressing with it ?

When your ready it would be great to see you start layout threads on your builds both OO and O.

    G'day Rob,

Welcome aboard. Nice of you to join us here and it was great to meet you (again) at Liverpool. Plenty of great topics, great modellers and friendly members. I'll be looking forward to your modelling, which ever scale may be. So settle in and have a good look around. Enjoy your stay and enjoy the banter that is P1MRC.

    Cheers, Gary.

    Chris,

I have only just got Gilbert Sidings out of storage and haven't done any work since the exhibition. At this stage I am going to focus on my new GWR 7mm project.

    Gary,

    Thanks for the welcome mate.

    Cheers,

    Rob
