Hi, i sent off for this a couple of weeks ago as it looked really good. I think I'll take the advice of the Messiah and do my brass LowMacs first before attempting the white metal kit. I've got the liquid flux but not sure about the 70 degree solder. here is what come s with the kit. Below is the brass roof, couplings and Slaters wheels. next up is the side panels and end panels. a pack containing the various castings, and you also get some brass rails that go along the windows. You dont get a floor. they recommend that you make one from card or plastic so it looks like plastic for me. I have various sheets of plastikard in stock anyway. So ....... there we have it ........ another one to join the queue. The Lowmacs could be on the cards for next weekend ....... well ....... one of them anyway. cheers for now. Toto
Hi Toto interesting kit by the look of it I've never soldered white metal only superglued it so will wait with breath (not bated you'd need to be a whale to hold it that long) Ian
I've got a white metal shunter's truck (its actually a disguised cleaning wagon) so will leave the build of that until I see how serious the injuries are Ian
