Hi all, Like many I have collected quite a stash of kits most of them being my preferred LNER but I also have a David Andrews Streamlined Coronation kit which I really fancied at the time. When I ordered it I paid the extra to have the etches in Nickel rather than brass and I have decided that I really should concentrate on the LNER. With this one the hard work is done because the body is a superb rein casting (it's what attracted me to it in the first place. - Having built one DJH whitemetal boilered kit I didn't really fancy the Tower Models version. The kit is no longer available from David Andrews so if you would like one this is your opportunity. It comes complete with a set of Slaters wheels and a set of the rather nice Severn Mill etched plates for Duchess of Hamilton. Priced sensibly at £650 plus P&P at cost.
Further to my recent bit of horse trading with Toto for the steel mineral it occurred to me that someone may fancy this kit but perhaps can't afford it. Therefore I will consider swapping this in whole or in parts for an LNER loco should it be of interest and you have something in the stash the you won't get around to building.
