This link was supplied to me via LocoYard : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1pzLIf2Ge8 Some grand old footage of Southern steam, well worth watching if you're a Southern fan, or not ! Cheers, Gary.
Nice. That Battle of Britain was flying! The only one of those I can't pose as a model is the W class. For the Z, I have the Golden Arrow resin body on a modifed Hornby 8F chassis. My Q is being re-chassised with a Bachmann 3F one - it just needs a little rewiring to hard-wire a DCC decder and eliminate the tender power connections. The rest are ready to run from the major manufacturers - Hornby for the BoB and WC, and the USA dock tanks aren't out yet but are close to delivery from Model Rail (I have one of the green ones on order). A few ideas for train formations in the video or, at least, parts of the formations.
...and one of Southern Electric in green : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPfvhn3Kwqk#t=323.178111 Cheers, Gary.
Another good find Gary - now the exhibition is over, you evidently have too much time on your hands - carefull, as Toto will soon fill any hint of free time. Paul
