    Hi Everyone,
I have bought a Tar Wagon in 0 gauge from one of our members I am hoping to convert it to 16mm 32mm gauge at some point. This will be my first ever attempt at doing something like this, so fingers crossed if anyone has any pointers about conversions please let me know.
    Regards,
    Gloria.

Nice one Gloria, I'm sure the conversion will be fine, the only pointer I'd add as advice if asked would be to ensure frames sit level on a flat surface if you have to swap axle boxes or guides around. A good flat surface I use to prove "level" is my trusty marble kitchen worktop offcut, or a marble bread chopping board will do the same trick.

Best luck and please post up pictures of your new project.
    cheers Yorkie

Another thing you could use to make sure all is level and true on a build is an old cd disc, also very flat.

    Pete.

    Hi Pete,
Thank you ever so much for your input 0 gauge is slightly smaller than 16mm I bought this wagon to give me some ideas as to build one from scratch, but saying that we may be able to modify it so that it won't look out of place.Luckily there was a gentleman selling the one I purchased in the wanted and sales on platform1mrc. I tried ebay but there wasnt much on there. We have a 3d printer and printed of some open 16mm wagons they are lovely but not any decent tank wagons as yet though sorry to say.Keep looking that is all I can do because you never know.We may bring a couple of our printed wagons to the show for people to see Pete see what happens on that score.
    You take care speak soon.
    Regards,
    Gloria.
