The 2020 Platform 1 O gauge competition

Hot on the heels of the release of connoiseur Models 0-4-0 Drury diesel mechanical shunter ..... guess what..... Platform 1 are offering up one for our 2020 O Gauge competition.

The nature of the competition will be announced shortly so keep your eyes open on this thread in order to be in with an opportunity to win this terrific prize.

Ok .... it's another cameo.

If there is one thing that makes any industry, it's the people. So what I want is a small cameo, no more than eight inches square depicting a scene which could be anything at all.

Men having their tea prior to their next turn of duty, a maintainence scene, absolutely anything.

The main emphasis is on detail and quirkiness. You can use anything you want provided it can fit the overall size. In order to make use of the dimension it may be that you make use of " suggestive " detail where the full size wont fit. Ie, a smaller detail that suggests the surrounding of a bigger scene. Extra consideration will be given to this when judging.

This competition is open to everyone including the moderators. One prize as stated so one winner.

I'll set a closing date of the end of June ( last Saturday 12.00 midnight UK time ) as I am aware that the lock down competition has been scheduled for the end of may.

Ok people .....

This competition ends at the end of this month. Given that one of the rules of this competition is regular progress updates, I'd say that folks are cutting things a bit thin of they wish to register an interest in making a submission.
If you want to make a submission, I'd suggest that it is started in some form by the end of play tomorrow with significant updates following in order to be fair to our only current competitor.
Take this as fair warning.
